Blame it on the sheep

Carol Boden Mania of Lodestar Wovens says it best….”
“While homesteading 35 acres and smiling my way through the garden, I just knew I needed sheep, and so began my journey with “Stillwater” and “Wrinklebottom“. They provided both the insight and the inspiration. Self-taught, truly blessed and now 19 years later, all those spun fibers, woven moments, shows, shops and memories have led me here.
Love of color, texture and pattern are clearly my greatest motivators while creating. A background in horticulture and many hours watching the wonders of a greenhouse unfold have led to a serendipitous approach. If I stop, look and listen even just a few moments each day, it comes to me by itself. I don’t have much control over what results. It seems to take on a spirit of it’s own; one I truly hope you’ll find as “necessary” as I do in the daily process of life.
My artdolls and jewelry emerged over a quiet and energized winter hiatus from the gardens. They keep me laughing and I find that good!”
Now that sound like a wonderful way to create! Take a moment today to stop by Carol’s shop and look at all her home spun goodness!
