EEEKS!!! I heard something and thought it was my cat in the back room and when I went to open the door I almost had a heart attack…a skunk!!! I had to run around the house and open the door (gently) from the outside and it finally left. PHEW!!!
Pepe La Pew he was NOT!

Oh my that was a close shave. Not a guest you want, however much you like wildlife.
We came back from holiday to find a bird stuck in the loft. Somehow it left thank goodness because we would have never caught it.

Great pic.
I’ve had skunks under my car and right outside the window, but never inside. Keep in mind that, in addition to the danger of being sprayed, skunks are also one of the leading carriers of rabies (actually the number one carrier in the western U.S.).
