The weather here in New England as of late has been a bit crazy. It runs the gamut of warm one day and a couple days later it’s freezing. Today was no different. We had an ice storm and while I could I popped out to snap a few pictures in my yard. I wish the sun had been out because the ice coated trees looked like chandeliers, and bushes were brought low by the weight of the ice and looked as if they were bowing in the woods. Very pretty, very dangerous. A quick run to the chickens and back inside to work on some pendants before I got bonked by falling ice. Enjoy!

My newest pendant of 2009. Her face is more muted than my other pieces and the softness was hard to capture.

A quick snap of a piece I created for my mom. She found this leaf and thought I’d like to use it in my art and I thought it would make a pretty pendant for her in turn. The bail is sterling, it’s accented with quartz faceted beads, and the adjustable ribbon is hand dyed silk.
